Caring for Colombia Foundation

Caring For Colombia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects  U.S. donors with impactful social projects in Colombia. Since 2003, we have built strong relationships with local leaders and institutions, fostering transformation in the most vulnerable communities. Our focus areas include education, leadership, sustainability and culture. We seek a more equitable Colombia that is guided by inclusive decision-making. A constant focus on identifying, developing, and monitoring high-impact projects will establish Caring for Colombia as the leading U.S.-based organization to promote inclusive and sustainable development in our country. Ana Maria has been involved with the organization as a volunteer, supporting educational programs, fundraising campaigns and promoting its mission and vision throughout programs in La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, COP16 and New York City.
